Selling features: (Why use OUR flax, and not other people's flax)

  • 100% Certified Organic
  • Not all flax contains Omega-3
  • The further north you grow, the more Omega-3 the seed contains (our's is grown north of the 53rd parallel !)
  • Our flax contains 45% flax oil, of which 60% !!!!!!!! is Omega-3 (alpha linolenic acid)
  • Regular Flax Oil contains VERY LITTLE active Omega-3 (ALA).  Because even if it is 'Cold Pressed' it oxidises due to the temperature of the press and turns rancid.  The HEAT of the press, or the heat of the 'refining' process modifies the Omega-3.  Storage of Oil is near impossible: Light & heat turn the highly volatile Omega-3 into trans-fatty acids, rancid peroxides and/or 'free-radicals'
  • Our flax is COLD-MILLED (Sliced) to ensure that it is NOT crushed (turning it into an oily mess).  Seed, is not 'biologically available' without breaking into the hard light-proof, air-tight shell.....
  • Our flax is processed without LIGHT, without AIR, without HEAT to keep the FRESH seed from spoiling.
  • Our flax contains the LOWEST cadmium levels in the world (Due to the soil location)
  • Our milled flax TASTES better.  Because it is FRESH FRESH FRESH from the fields!  The taste proves that our flax is FRESH and not spoiled by heat, light or air.
  • We sell for less
  • Discounts available for small quantities
  • Distributor discounts available for medium quantities

General reasons for flax in your diet:

  • Flax contains 100x more lignans than the next best source (Lignans are used to treat and prevent certain cancers, and bind with Bile Acid from Cholesterol to reduce Cholesterol)
  • if you think its a 'fad' then consider that flax has been used as a food source as far as 5000 B.C.
  • Omega-3 and Omega-6 are Essential Fatty Acids (EFA's)  We have enough Omega-6 through sunflower and such oils, but we don't eat enough Omega-3's anymore (contained in 'hunter fish' ... yes, Cod (liver oil....) and 'snake oil'... every heard of a 'snake oil salesman'?)  Flax has the highest available Omega-3 content, to balance our diets back to PRE 1930 (when Proctor & Gamble patented Hydrogenation of oils and sold it under the name Crisco)
  • HIGH in fibre (and lingans) 1/4 cup ground flaxseed delivers 6grams of fibre.  That is equal to 1.5 cups of Oatmeal !!!
  • Harmful LDL drops while good HDL cholesterol remains unchanged when adding flax to your diet
  • regularity improves (That is why you START with 1 tbsp. for 4-7 days before going to the recommended 2 tbsp. per day dose)
  • Boosts: auto-immune systems (each cell wall is able to control it's own permeability and absorption of nutrients and excretion of toxins)
  • Stop and reverse degenerative processes which lead to Cardio Vascular Disease etc.
  • Replace BAD fats with good ones......
  •     Saturated fats are good for energy
  •     Poly- UNSATURATED FATS: Omega-6 and Omega-3 fats are building blocks for cells (Essential Fatty Acids, EFA's)
  •     Partially Hydrogenated oils are BAD
  •         They contain FREE RADICALS which destroy cell walls (First point of attack is the artery wall)
  •         They contain Trans-Fatty acids, which chemically act like Unsaturated fats, but suffocate  systems which use the Cis-Configured Fatty Acid's ability to pass Oxygen to cells as well as making them 'invisible' to systems which transform them into other building blocks
  •         They contain Unknown 'versions' of fatty acids (also known as 'funny fats') which can be toxic in small dosages
  •

Oils which contain Poly-Unsaturated fats are volatile and go 'bad' quickly (they attract oxygen and react to UV light)

Heating unsaturated fats accelerates the reaction rapidly.

Treated oils are bad because:

  • They are heated, nutrients are stripped, Unsaturated fats go rancid, so they are mostly removed (especially the POLY unsaturated and SUPER unsaturated)
  • Read 'The Science of Fat' to get the full picture
